[ABSTRACT] The new telematic technology will have a great impact in mental healthcaring. Internet and computers not only have influence in people behavior even in the doctor-patient relation. This article reviews the advantages and risks of the telepsychiatry and the new model of interaction.Las nuevas tecnologías telemáticas tendrán un gran impacto en el cuidado de la salud mental.
