[ABSTRACT] We present anatomical, physiological and functional evidences indicating that the central nervous system (CNS), the endocrine system and the immune system interact. Likewise, we show that this communication is bi-directional. Furthermore, the scientific basis establishing the communication between the immune system and the CNS are discussed.
