RESUMEN

[ABSTRACT] The objective of this present work is to present a model of professional formation for the psychologist. A bibliographical research with regard to this topic has been done in order to show the currículum model that is being carried out al "César Vallejo University-Trujillo-Perú. The professional formation of the psychologist, at it is for each profession, begins with a deep analysis of the society, not only about the present but also about the main trends in terms of necessities that ought to be satisfied by the professional when he/she graduates. There are many aspects to be considered, such as: globalization and locationism, the fast development of technology, the automation of work etc; concerning education we face up-dated theories, such as: to learn how to learn, to learn how to do, to learn how to be, to learn how to live with others; the University education tends to focus on study plans based on competences, new orientations with regard to University - enterprise relationship, the necessity of creating new ways of both administration and academic organization that can be able to achieve challengs, such as: continuing education, with the incresing necessity of updating, etc.; the research about professional formation of the psychologist in Latin America have many problems, in terms of hte professional curriculum and social needs, expectations and the study plans organization. The aspects mentioned above permit to focus on new competences to be pursued by the psychologist, where prevention, diagnostic, tratment, and scientific research are the column of the professional formation of the psychologist at the same time of increasing the practice hours(for example: VII cicle), and to design experiences(when being related horizontally) that help us find the solution of our own professional problems; dealing with this issue, the professor is a facilitator of knowledge building; added to this it is necessary to focus on evaluation strategies where the mistake is a means of the learning process.El objetivo del presente trabajo es presentar un modelo de formación profesional del psicólogo. Se hace una revisión bibliográfica sobre el tema, para luego presentar el modelo curricular que esta siendo aplicado en la universidad César Vallejo-Trujillo-Perú. La formación profesional del psicólogo, como lo es para toda profesión, parte por el análisis de la sociedad, nó solo del presente, sino de las principales tendencias, en términos de necesidades que deberían ser satisfechas, por el profesional cuando egrese de la Universidad. Existen en este momento aspectos a ser considerados tales como: la globalización y el localizacionismo, el avance vertiginoso de la tecnología, la, automatización del trabajo, etc.; en lo educativo planteamientos como el aprender a aprender, aprender a hacer, aprender a ser, aprender a convivir; la educación Universitaria tiende a elaborar planes de estudio basado en competencias, se plantea nuevas orientaciones respecto a la relación universidad-empresa, la necesidad de nuevas formas de organización administrativa y académica que responda a restos como la educación continuada, con la creciente necesidad de actualización, etc.; las investigaciones acerca de la formación profesional del psicólogo en América latina acusan deficiencias, en la relación entre perfil profesional y necesidades sociales, expectativas y perfil, en la organización de los planes de estudio. Los aspectos antes señalados permiten plantear nuevas competencias a ser logradas por el psicólogo, donde la prevención, el diagnóstico, el tratamiento y la investigación científica sean la columna vertebral de la formación profesional del psicólogo,a sí como incrementar el tiempo de permanencia en el centro de práctica, (por ejemplo en el VII ciclo), así mismo el de diseñar experiencias(al estar relacionadas horizontalmente) que faciliten la solución de problemas propios de la carrera profesional; en esta el docente es un facilitador de la construcción del conocimiento; sumados a estos es necesario plantear estrategias de evaluación donde el error se convierta en fuente de aprendizaje.
