Thank you for sharing this beautiful text. I met Dr Poveda in Cambodia, in January 2021 on an island. We were cabin neighbors for a month. He happily told me many stories about his life and shared with me his passion for virtual reality for psychological healing or preparing patients for major surgery. He was the representation of passion, joy and above all openness. He was kind enough to read my research project and link it to many other research he found. He validated my ideas and recognized my conclusion without trying to dominate. He helped me to get my confidence back because he saw more than my school diplomas and the conventional path that we all have to follow. He wanted to partner with me and my project and bring his ideas of virtual reality to it. Then we both left for our country of origin and stayed in touch but one day he didn't answer me anymore... and today I find out about his death. With all my heart, I say a last goodbye to Dr. Poveda. Let his light and his curiosity find their way into everyone's heart, it would bring to this world the innocence, respect, love and passion it needs to heal. Rest in peace. corine
