[ABSTRACT] The psychoactive drugs, as a group, can play a double roll in patients to undergo surgery under anesthesia, both as anesthetic inducers or coinducers or as treatments in curse (including its roll as abuse substances). Most of the drugs utilizated in the induction and anesthesia maintenance have the consideration of psychotropic drugs; opiate analgesics, barbiturics, benzodiazepines, propofol, etomidate or ketamine are drugs with psychotropic effects, and some of them are used use almo
