Los ciber-adolescentes: Experimentación de violencia en una preparatoria.

RESUMEN

[ABSTRACT] The way adolescents get along with the others, varies. It depends on the people they have a relation with, they usually create identification codes such as words abbreviations, hidden meaning words, sign language or even, images only understood by them.
Anything we need, can be gotten through cyberspace since it helps us in our working, academic, social and family life. However, it has also had certain limitations, it avoids personal contact, it limits the social actions because we try to find out everything on the internet lately. Some people consider that the internet is useful to hide the face of the violence that is promoted through the cyberspace. Examples of such violence are the robberies, pornography, social destruction and harmful information for the adolescents. Besides, it encourages cyber bullying, a new way of aggression through the internet, no matter who the victim is.
The objective of this research was ?to describe the way in which violence is experienced through the frequent use of the cyberspace in the behavior of teenaged students of a preparatory school?. An exploratory study was carried out with a simple of 220 students from a regional preparatory school from the State of Mexico. A questionnaire was administered. This instrument was made up from the use the adolescents give to the internet in order to determine the main actions or crimes that take place in the cyberspace. The results reflect that some adolescents have become victims of the violence, causing emotional, social and educational damages that are usually presented in either active or passive way, directly or indirectly to those people that suffer cyber bullying.La forma de relacionarse del adolescentes difiere, depende del circulo de personas con las que se tiene contacto, suelen crear códigos con los que se identifican, ya sea abreviando palabras, utilizando doble sentido, con señas o hasta con imágenes que ellos mismos entienden. A través del ciberespacio , se obtiene cualquier cosa que necesitamos, pues nos ayuda en la vida laboral, académica familiar y social. Sin embargo, también ha tenido ciertas limitantes; evita el contacto personal, limita las acciones sociales debido a que ahora todo queremos encontrar en internet, hay quienes consideran que sirve para ocultar el rostro de la violencia que se ejerce por medio del ciberespacio como el robo, la pornografía, la destrucción social, con información que daña a los jóvenes, además de fomentar el ciberbullying, nueva forma de agredir por medio de internet sin importar quien sea la víctima. El objetivo de esta investigación fue ?describir la forma en que se experimenta la violencia con el uso frecuente del ciberespacio en el comportamiento de adolescentes alumnos de una Preparatoria?. Bajo un estudio exploratorio se integró una muestra de 220 alumnos de una preparatoria regional del Estado de México, se aplicó un cuestionario, conformado a partir del uso que le dan al internet, para poder determinar las principales acciones o delitos realizados en el ciberespacio. Los resultados reflejan que algunos adolescentes se han convertido en víctimas de la violencia, ocasionando daños emocionales, sociales y educativos que suelen manifestarse de forma pasiva o activa, directa o indirectamente a los que sufren ciberbullying.
